I love the dutch oven it is the porthole to the one pot meal, put in your favorite ingredients and in the oven it goes, and the addition of enamel to the Dutch oven only made it better, clean up just became a snap. No more worries about your Dutch oven rusting after cleaning or hurting the seasoning of the cast iron pot in the dish washer, but don't write off the enamel Dutch oven at the camping trip, place a cast iron griddle over your fire, mind you not a fire that you must be back 4 or 5 feet to keep from singeing your hair, than place your enamel coated Dutch oven on the griddle. Don't let your fire come up around the griddle. Happy cooking.
